National Picasso Museum “War and Peace”
The former Romanesque chapel of Vallauris Castle houses the National Picasso Museum "War and Peace", a monumental composition painted on isorel panels.
Housed in a 12th-C. Romanesque chapel, this museum contains two Picasso’s famous monumental compositions “War and Peace” (125 m2) representing themes dear to the artist in the period immediately after the War. It was also in Vallauris that Picasso discovered the art of ceramics and pottery, at the Madoura studio (exhibitions of works from this period).

Opening hours on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 10 am and 12.15 pm and between 2 pm and 5 pm.
Closed on Tuesday.
Closed exceptionally on January 1st, May 1st, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
